VSB Centrifugal Extract Fan Units
Injection Moulded in UV stabilised Polypropylene for maximum mechanical durability combined with excellent chemical resistance, these high efficiency, low cost units comprise:-
Fan Case - which can be handed left or right to provide the optimum outlet position. It comes with circular inlet, sized to match popular duct diameters, and, either circular or rectangular discharge outlet.
Multiblade Impeller - essentially in polypropylene, for maximum chemical resistance in the air stream, it is fitted with a graphite-reinforced nylon hub for improved mechanical strength where it locks onto the motor shaft.
Pedestal - our VSB20 to VSB60 range of Fan Units are all complete with hot-dipped galvanised mild steel pedestals. The VSB14 Fan Unit is complete with a Nylon 66 Pedestal which is injection moulded for consistency, lightness and strength.
Optional Extras
Outlet can be flanged rectangular and/or can be fitted with sliding plate-type damper unit.
A rolled steel galvanised base frame with anti-vibration mounts is available with extended legs to provide fixing points for inverter and/or isolator.
Inverter Speed Controller to maximise efficiency in operation and provide flexibility.
An isolator required under Health and Safety regulations to permit safety in maintaining the fan.
PVC Flexible Connections for inlet and outlet to minimise transmission of noise and vibration. All connections are complete with stainless steel banding and jubilee clips.
